Four easy steps for using your Gift Card:

Step 1: Place merchandise in your basket and proceed to checkout.

Step 2: Prepare your Gift Card by scratching off the 8-digit PIN number from the top right corner of your card, not removing the clear sticker tape in the process. Have your Gift Card ready with you during the checkout process.

Step 3: On the Billing Information page of Checkout, under Gift Card Redemption, enter the Gift Card Number (16 digit number located on the center back of the card) and the 8-digit Gift Card PIN.

Step 4: Hit the Continue button in lower right corner of Billing page. You will see the Gift Card amount deducted from your total order on the Order Confirmation page.

For catalog phone orders, give your Gift Card and PIN number to the Customer Service representative during the billing step of the checkout process.

Currently, the Sephora Gift Card is only available for purchase and use within the United States.

Note: You cannot buy a Sephora Gift Card and pay for it with an eGift Certificate and/or another Sephora Gift Card.

Activating Your Sephora Gift Card
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If the purchase date of your Gift Card is before October 20, 2003, you must first activate your card before using.

Your card can be activated online or by calling the telephone number on the back of your card, or by calling Customer Service at 1-877-SEPHORA or (1-877-737-4672).

In order to activate your card, you will need to locate four numbers (To see the location of these numbers, see the illustration below).

1. 16-digit Gift Card Number (located on the back of the Gift Card)
2. 8-digit Gift Card PIN (scratch off located at the top right of card, do not remove clear tape)
3. 16-digit Activation Number (located on the Gift Message Card mailed or emailed to you)
4. 8-digit Activation PIN (also on Gift Message Card)

Checking Your Sephora Gift Card Balance and Transaction History
To check your Gift Card balance online just enter your Gift Card Number and Gift Card PIN. Please make sure your card has been activated. If your card has not been activated you can activate your card online or call the toll free number printed on the activation sticker on the back of your card. If you are in a store, a Sephora representative can check the balance for you.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If the purchase date of your gift card is after October 20, 2003 or if it was purchased in a Sephora store, your card does not need to be activated.

Reloading Your Gift Card
You can add funds to an existing Gift Card only by going to a Sephora retail store location. Click here for the nearest store location.

Returns and Credits
The Sephora Gift Card itself cannot be redeemed for cash. If you would like to return an item that was purchased by a Sephora Gift Card, your refund will be credited to either online store credit or another Gift Card. You can also have your refund back to your existing Gift Card by calling Customer Service.

Important Details about Your Sephora Gift Card
The Sephora Gift Card is currency and is considered cash, and it cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. You cannot redeem or exchange your Sephora Gift Card for cash. You can use your Gift Card anytime; there is no expiration date. Sephora will not honor Sephora Gift Cards or eGift Certificates sold by any other vendor or person other than Sephora.
